New Neutrals - warm colours for smart rooms
Colours with warm undertones ensure timeless harmony in both classic and modern interior styles. The English paint manufacturer Little Greene has also taken up this theme and derived inspiring neutral shades from it. With the Stone colour palette, it offers modern New Neutrals colour shades that are perfectly matched to different room situations.
Away from cooler shades of grey
Many of us spend more time at home than we used to, be it during work in the home office or in our free time. This is one of the reasons why the focus in the colour design of rooms is increasingly on relaxation and retreat. We are observing a trend away from cooler grey tones towards warmer colours in many of our orders.
Colour: Nether Red
When it comes to wall and furniture colours, interior designers are also increasingly appealing to us for colour tones that radiate warmth, are calming and pleasant to look at for many hours.
Finely graduated neutral tones
The Stone palette from Little Greene is perfect for this. Its 36 shades are finely coordinated. Based on six warm red, brown and green tones, corresponding neutral tones were developed. The result is a range of colours that combine to create a smart and inviting look in living and dining areas, bedrooms, hallways and home offices. All shades in the Stone range are available in different gloss levels and finishes and for different surfaces.
Colours with a long tradition
Little Greene is a British paint manufacturer dedicated to producing high quality paints and wallpapers. Its history dates back to 1773.
Colour: Sage Green
Colour: Arras
The first paints were based on natural resins and pigments and were similar to those used by the great painters of the time. Today, Little Greene still uses many of these tried and tested, traditional ingredients to make its paints.
Colour: Elysian Ground
All colours are characterised by a special depth of colour: The underlying shades change subtly depending on the light conditions and give the colours their unique character. This is made possible by special formulations and a pigment content that is up to 40 percent higher than that of many other colours.
Colour: Slaked Lyme
Colour: Baluster
The effect of a colour and the exact shade can best be assessed using the Little Greene colour chart. You can request this free of charge from meinewand.com. The colour card contains not only the shades of the Stone palette, but all the shades of the carefully developed Little Greene colour spectrum.
