As part of a collaboration, Sebastian and Kai from MEINEWAND have developed wallpaper concepts for rooms from Westwing, Europe's largest interiors provider. In his article, Sebastian explains their selection.
We have long been enthusiastic about the perfectly coordinated furniture and accessories from Westwing. Although the products bring together different styles, they look very harmonious when combined. That's why, on the one hand, we looked for wallpaper that would blend in well with these rooms. On the other hand, the Westwing style leaves enough room for design with wallpapers and murals. We have therefore also selected some wallpapers that make a statement in the room with bold patterns.

The skilful mix of styles in the bathroom, which Westwing has created here with its furniture and accessories,
has enabled us to combine it with many different wallpapers. The maximalist, floral
Plantasia design by English avant-garde brand House of Hackney is inspired by historical tapestries. It fits into the room just as well as the Scandinavian vintage designs from Langelid / von Brömssen.

The typically Scandinavian vintage wallpapers from the Swedish label Langelid / von Brömssen also fit in with Westwing's style mix.

For the children's room, we opted for a dinosaur wallpaper from the Swedish label Majvillan and a striking wallpaper from Sian Zeng. The bedroom, in the centre of which is the Romy bed from the Westwing Collection with its curved headboard
headboard, was originally characterised by a wall painted in a vibrant red. The rest
of the room is decorated in a lively colour. That's why we chose the Marta wallpaper from the Barcelona label Coordonné, for example. Its watercolour look and muted grey tones combine perfectly with the earthy brown colour scheme of the room. If you want the wall to stand out despite the already lively interior, the dune landscape by Isidore Leroy with its natural colour scheme is a wonderful option.

The hallway is characterised by the striking Lino upholstered stool and the Ron lamp with a linen surface from Westwing. Here, we opted for vintage wallpaper from Cole & Son to maintain the warm character of the room.

The effect of the Glastonbury striped wallpaper is extremely varied, depending on the colour tone.
Despite its size, the Sofia sofa from the Westwing Collection is pleasantly restrained, giving the wall plenty of options. This benefits a wallpaper such as Plantasia from House of Hackney: it can unfold its effect, but at the same time combines very well with the reddish brown tones in the room. Even a picture can still be hung.
