Coordonné meets young design
The inspiring Rest Time collection is a collaboration between the Spanish wallpaper brand Coordonné and the renowned Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London.
The Barcelona-based wallpaper label Coordonné is always at the cutting edge of design thanks to numerous collaborations. For the new collection, it has now worked for the first time with the renowned Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London, whose graduates are among the world's international design elite.
The result of this unique co-operation is a wide variety of patterns that can be used to design rooms in a varied and relaxing way: The task for the 10 budding designers was to develop motifs that for them are linked to the theme of "Rest Time", i.e. moments of rest and relaxation.
Korean-born design student Tae-eun Kim was inspired by the tranquillity of the deep sea for the Diving Moment wallpaper.
Sophia Hogg's Metaphoric Birds wallpaper is reminiscent of relaxing moments in orchards, whose scents revitalise our senses.
Selina Foster's sophisticated wallpaper Infinity Strokes is inspired by the feeling of deep joy that she associates with the development of new designs.
Martha Ashby uses a coastal panorama inspired by Scotland for her Dungeness View wallpaper. For her, the landscape symbolises a feeling of freedom and contentment.
